On September 27th, 2017, SHOWA-TBEA(SHANDONG) CABLE ACCESSORIES CO., LTD officially signed contracts with ZHONGTIAN TECHNOLOGY SUBMARINE CABLES Co. LTD. on “ZHOUSHAN 500kV Network PowerTransmission Project”. Leaders from TBEA-SWCC, such as Mr N Ahimtate, thegeneral manager, Zhao Zunhua, deputy general manager, and Zhou Guanjie, assistantof general manager and representatives of ZTT attended the signing ceremonytogether. Contracts of 500kV submarine cable accessories further demonstrateTBEA-SWCC’s scientific and technological ability, and enhance our company'sbrand influence and competitiveness. The operation of this project will provideour research on HV cable accessories with key technology and practicalexperience, which certainly lay solid foundation for technology and operation.
    ZHOUSHAN 500kV Network PowerTransmission Project is now the largest investment and the most difficultconstruction of cross-region & cross-ocean interconnection project. Theproject will set two world records: two highest transmission towers with 380meters height in the world and the first usage of domestic 500kV XLPE submarinecable. This is the first 500kV XLPE insulated submarine cable project in theworld, which is self-developed and manufactured by China. Based on the ZHOUSHAN500kV network transmission project, we can speed up technological research onsubmarine cable & ultra high tower, and solve a series of problems aboutinstallation. It is of great significance to promote the development of oceanpower transmission technology.
