On August 4, the results presentation meeting of the company's STPS improvement activities in the first half of 2021 was successfully held in the multimedia conference room on the fourth floor of the office building. The company's leading group served as a judge to attend the presentation meeting of the current improvement activities.

Under the careful guidance of Japanese quality expert Kenichi Katsumi, general manager, and deputy general manager Mr. Sato and other department ministers, after nearly half a year's careful preparation, repeated polishing, and modification, 12 groups of topics finally made a wonderful appearance in this conference, including 5 groups of the manufacturing department, 3 groups of the quality department, 3 groups of the R&D Department and 1 group of the Engineering Department. According to the established publication order, each group published reports on the implementation of their improvement activities and improvement results, including new product R&D, efficiency improvement, problem improvement, operation mode optimization, safety management, independent construction, and so on. After careful evaluation and scoring by the judges on-site, two groups of topics such as "R&D of intelligent cable accessories" of the technology department won the best award, 5 groups of topics such as "Improving the material utilization rate of epoxy manual injection equipment" of the manufacturing department won the excellent award, and 5 groups of topics such as "Improvement of independent construction and installation quantity" of the engineering department won the excellent award.

At the meeting, general manager Mr. Katsumi made wonderful comments on the topics of this meeting. The improvement content of the manufacturing department not only includes the improvement of operation efficiency, analysis of adverse causes, and reduction of raw material waste but also includes safety activities into STPS improvement, troubleshooting hidden dangers, prevention in advance, and ensuring safe production. The activity content of the engineering department is to achieve an efficient allocation of human resources among various departments of the company, reduce outsourcing construction and improve the proportion of independent construction. The R&D department involves the development of intelligent terminals and products to meet the needs of power grid companies, keeping up with the forefront of technology development. The quality assurance department continues to focus on improving test efficiency and enhancing the capacity of the test equipment. At present, our company can independently carry out the margin test of 500kV cable accessories. Based on the present and looking to the future, this improvement activity has made great progress in efficiency improvement, risk management, and new product development. At present, the improvement of our company is also at the upstream level in the whole Showa group. The achievements are the result of continuous improvement. It can be said that this is the "force of persistence".After more than ten years of development, STPS has developed into a relatively complete set of production management technology and method system, which is of great significance to the stability and development of the company.
